A 20 kg / 44 lb box of Harvia’s everyday split-face olivine diabase in the large 10–15 cm size (AC3020). This is the workhorse box for wood stoves and big floor heaters — fractured faces hold heat and give water more surface.
What size and where it goes
Split-face / angular, 10–15 cm (4–6 in), one box 20 kg / 44 lb. Harvia lists AC3020 for large electric heaters and all wood-burning stoves. If the manual says 5–10 cm (most wall electrics), buy AC3000 instead. Club’s documented pile is about 60 kg — that is three of these boxes if you fill with 10–15 cm.
Before you pile
Rinse the rocks in a tub or with a hose before they go in the heater. Factory dust will smell on the first heat if you skip it. Pile loose so air can move — a jammed cage cooks elements and kills löyly. Cover the elements on an electric; do not rest a boulder on a bend in the coil.
What’s in the box

FAQ
Are these a full pallet?
No. One box. We do not import Prosaunas full pallets.
Is a heater in this carton?
No. Stones only.
Do I need to rinse them?
Yes. Wash the dust off before you pile.
Which size for my heater?
5–10 cm for most electric wall heaters. 10–15 cm for wood stoves and large floor electrics. HUUM CLIFF/STEEL want 3–5 cm; DROP/HIVE/CORE and HUUM wood want 5–10 cm. If the manual disagrees with a rule of thumb, the manual wins.
