Harvia WHP1500 Steel Chimney Kit (Stainless)

Harvia WHP1500 is the stainless steel chimney kit for Harvia wood-burning sauna stoves. Made in Finland. Two cartons on this dealer SKU: the WHP1500 chimney and the WHP-AS angled-roof assembly. You burn wood in an M3, Pro, Linear, Legend, 50, or Cilindro wood stove — this is the matching Harvia steel flue, not a generic hardware-store pipe.

How it is used

The stove’s smoke outlet takes Harvia’s 115 mm smoke pipe. The insulated 1.5 m chimney section goes through the ceiling/roof of a detached sauna building. Harvia’s standard delivery (harvia.com WHP1500): 1.5 m insulated steel chimney; utility box with 1.0 m non-insulated smoke pipe, rain cap, rubber rain flange and fasteners, stainless ceiling lead-through flange, lead-through insulation and protector. Joints lock so the pipe does not walk with heat. Extend with WHP500 (500 mm) or WHP1000 (1000 mm) if the roof needs more height — still cap the system at 5.0 m as Harvia writes.

A licensed chimney installer and the authority having jurisdiction decide the flue for your building. We sell the manufacturer’s European steel chimney system named on this page. Harvia prints CE on the pages we cite. Those pages do not print a UL listing. We will not invent one. This is not a US 6-inch Class A kit.

FAQ

Is this a US 6-inch Class A chimney?
No. Harvia’s WHP steel chimney is a European modular flue: inner smoke pipe 115 mm (about 4.53"), outer casing 220 mm (about 8.66"). Harvia.com prints CE. We do not invent UL. Your installer and local code decide whether this system is legal on your building.

Indoor house chimney?
Harvia’s own support page for WHP1500: suitable only for standalone outdoor sauna buildings — not as the chimney for a fireplace inside a house or vacation home. If the sauna is inside a dwelling, stop and email hello@selfcaresaunas.com.

Does the kit include a damper?
No. Harvia names WHP270SP (stainless) and WHP270SPM (black) as the matching dampers, sold separately.

Vertical only?
Harvia’s WHP steel chimney manual: vertical only. Total insulated height max 5.0 m with extensions. Indoor unsupported and outdoor self-supported heights are in that manual.

Pitched roof vs flat?
This US dealer SKU is the two-box set named WHP1500 + WHP-AS (angled-roof assembly) or the black WHP1500M + WHP-ASM pair. A symmetric/flat-roof assembly kit is a different SKU (WHPASSYM / WHPASSYMM). Confirm roof pitch with our team before the order leaves.

Which stoves?
Harvia wood stoves in this shop: M3, Pro 20/26/36, Linear 16/18 Compact/22, Legend 150/240/300, Harvia 50, Cilindro 16/20 wood. Do not put this on an electric heater.
