This cover sits on a Harvia Legend wood stove around the smoke pipe and you fill it with extra stones. The stove’s own pile is not enough. Heat from the pipe goes into the rocks, so the safety distance to that pipe drops. It is a stone cage, not a chimney, not a rain cap, and not a protective sheath.
How it is used
Install the Legend, pile the stove stones first, then set an even stone layer around the upper flue opening — the cover stands on those rocks. Harvia’s install sheet: pile about 40 kg of large 10–15 cm stones into the cover, as densely as you can, until the smoke pipe is hidden. That is about 2 extra boxes of AC3020 (20 kg each) on top of the stove’s own load. Stones sold separately. Compatible with a Harvia steel chimney (WHP). If the insulated chimney starts right on top of this cover, fill the cover before that insulated section goes on. Legend only — Cilindro wood uses WL300PC, not this one. Do not put it on an electric heater.

FAQ
Do I still need the stove’s own stones?
Yes. Fill the Legend first. This cover is a second pile around the pipe. Harvia: about 40 kg of large 10–15 cm into the cover — about 2 extra AC3020 boxes.
Does this replace the chimney?
No. You still need a legal flue. This hides the uninsulated smoke pipe with rocks so more heat stays in the room and the pipe clearance can drop. A licensed installer and local code still decide the chimney.
Cilindro wood stove?
No. Harvia points Cilindro wood (WKPC16S / WKPC20S) to WL300PC. Do not order WL300 for Cilindro.
M3, Pro, Linear, Harvia 50?
No. This cage is the Legend pipe cover. Those stoves do not get this SKU.
Is it a protective sheath?
No. Sheaths (WL200, WL400, WL500, and the rest) are wall shields. This is the stone-filled pipe cover.
UL / 6-inch Class A?
No. Harvia prints CE / EAC on this accessory. We do not invent UL. This is not a US 6-inch Class A kit.
