This cage sits on a HUUM wood stove around the flue and you fill it with extra stones. The stove’s own pile is not enough. Heat from the pipe goes into the rocks instead of sitting on bare metal. It is a stone cage, not a chimney set, not a rain cap, and not an embedding flange.
How it is used
Set it on the stove around the chimney pipe, then fill. HUUM’s US stone-cage manual: 35–40 kg / 77–88 lb of 5–10 cm (2–4 in) stones in the cage. We shop the upper end — about 40 kg / 88 lb — as about 3 extra boxes of HUUM SM (534-BDL-STONES-SM-33, 15 kg each → 45 kg vs 40 kg spec). Not Harvia 10–15 cm. Stones sold separately. Cages stack; HUUM’s US sheet says you can put more than one on a flue (M6 bolts, 14 mm thread, sold separately — not in this carton). Fits HIVE Wood 13 / 17 / LS 17 and HIVE Flow / Flow LS / Mini / Mini LS. Not for HUUM electric DROP, HIVE, CLIFF, or STEEL. Not an embedding flange (those are different SKUs).

FAQ
Do I still need the stove’s own stones?
Yes. Fill the HIVE Wood or Flow first (5–10 cm). This cage is a second pile around the pipe — up to 40 kg / 88 lb more, about 3 extra SM boxes per cage.
Harvia 10–15 cm rocks?
No. HUUM wood and this cage take 5–10 cm. Use 534-BDL-STONES-SM-33, not AC3020.
Can I stack cages?
Yes. HUUM’s US sheet: more than one cage per flue. Qty on the stove page starts at 0; add 1, 2, or more. Stacking bolts are not in this carton.
Electric HUUM?
No. This cage goes around a wood-stove flue. DROP / HIVE / CLIFF / STEEL electric heaters do not get it. Embedding flanges are different SKUs.
Does this replace the chimney set?
No. You still need a legal flue (HUUM through-ceiling / through-wall / barrel set, or what the installer and code allow). This only wraps the pipe with stones.
