HUUM Flow manual: swap the bolted chimney leg and cover plate for a back connection; cut two ribs to the chimney diameter and fix with the plates in the stove carton.

HIVE Wood is top-exit only — do not order this backside set for HIVE Wood. HIVE Flow Mini / Flow / LS can use rear connection as the Flow US manual describes. Still a specialist job. Still not UL on the pages we have.

Code, UL, and who decides the flue
A licensed chimney installer and the authority having jurisdiction decide the flue for your building. We sell the manufacturer’s European steel chimney system named on this page. HUUM prints CE on the pages we cite. Those pages do not print a UL listing. We will not invent one. This is not a US 6-inch Class A kit.
HUUM’s 2023 catalog (huum.eu) names four stainless chimney sets: through-wall top-side, through-wall backside, through-ceiling, and barrel. The US HIVE Wood / HIVE Flow manuals: the stove is connected to the chimney only by a specialist; use flue pipe that meets local fire and safety rules. HUUM offers standard chimney sets; details in the stove manual appendix. Those US manuals do not print a UL listing for the chimney sets. We do not invent one.

HIVE Wood LS?
LS is through-wall loading. The flue on HIVE Wood is still the top outlet. Use through-ceiling or through-wall top-side, not this backside set.
Is a chimney in the HIVE Wood / Flow ST package?
No. HUUM: stones and the chimney connection are sold separately. The ST packages in this shop are stove packages, not flue kits.
UL or 6-inch Class A?
HUUM does not print UL for these sets on the catalog and US manuals we used. Inner connection on HIVE Flow is listed as chimney-leg diameter 114 mm. This is not a US 6-inch Class A kit.
Who installs it?
HUUM: only a certified / specialist installer connects the stove to the flue. Local code still wins.
