What size and where it goes
Rounded, 3–5 cm (1.2–2 in), one box 15 kg / 33 lb. If the cabin heater you pair is a HUUM CLIFF or STEEL, this is the SaunaLife-branded 3–5 cm carton. HUUM’s own 3–5 box is 534-BDL-STONES-XS-33. If you put a Harvia KIP or Vega in the cabin, you want 5–10 cm (AC3000), not this 3–5 box.
Before you pile
Rinse the rocks in a tub or with a hose before they go in the heater. Factory dust will smell on the first heat if you skip it. Pile loose so air can move — a jammed cage cooks elements and kills löyly. Cover the elements on an electric; do not rest a boulder on a bend in the coil.

Which size for my heater?
5–10 cm for most electric wall heaters. 10–15 cm for wood stoves and large floor electrics. HUUM CLIFF/STEEL want 3–5 cm; DROP/HIVE/CORE and HUUM wood want 5–10 cm. If the manual disagrees with a rule of thumb, the manual wins.
