The Harvia M3 SL is a Harvia wood-burning sauna stove rated 16.5 kW for rooms of about 212–459 cu ft. Made in Finland. SL is the through-wall layout: load wood from outside the hot room. You burn wood, heat the stones, and throw water for löyly — no electric heater circuit for the stove itself.
How it heats
Load firewood in the firebox. The stove body and the stones store heat; ladle water onto the rocks for steam. Connect to a proper chimney with the clearances in the Harvia wood-stove manual. Through-wall models put the loading door on the cool side of the wall. Chimney kits are sold separately unless a WH package on this site names one.
Match stove output to insulated volume. Glass and masonry eat heat. Chimney, clearances, and combustion air follow the manufacturer manual and local code. Email hello@selfcaresaunas.com if you want a second look at the room.

Does it need 240V? No. It burns wood. You still need a legal chimney and clearances.
Indoor or outdoor? The stove sits in a sauna room. That room can be an indoor build or an outdoor cabin rated for a wood stove.
Chimney included? Only when a package clearly includes it (often the WH SKUs). Otherwise order a chimney kit.
