The Harvia Virta Pro HL200E is Harvia’s large-room Virta Pro electric heater, 20 kW, specified for about 354–1130 cu ft. This is the high-output floor unit for big family rooms or commercial-scale volumes — not a 6 kW wall heater.

How it heats

Floor-standing electric heater in the Virta family: stones on top, elements arranged for long duty, separate control. Löyly from water on the rocks. Plan the circuit and the room volume carefully at this kW — this is not a 6 kW wall heater and it is not a Combi steamer. A licensed electrician reads the nameplate. We do not publish guessed breaker sizes.

Sizing

Match heater kW to insulated interior volume. Glass, stone, tile, or thin walls need more heater than a tight wood room of the same size. A licensed electrician completes the hookup from the nameplate — we do not guess breaker size. Email hello@selfcaresaunas.com to size the room first.

FAQ

Stones included?
No. Order a large stone load; Virta Pro is a big floor heater.

Can I run this on 240V single-phase?
No. The HL200E is made for 208V 3-phase only. For 240V single-phase, see the Harvia Virta Pro HL160E. Your electrician wires it from the nameplate and the Harvia manual.

Built-in control?
No. Separate control: a Xenio CX45 (or CX30) plus the LTY45 power extension. See the next answer.

Do I need a power extension box?
Yes. Harvia’s US wiring table pairs the 20 kW HL200E with a Xenio CX45 (or CX30) control plus the Harvia LTY45 power extension unit. The control alone tops out below 20 kW. Order both, or email hello@selfcaresaunas.com and we’ll quote the set.

Is this a Combi?
No. Virta Pro is electric heat only. Combi (HLSA) is a different SKU with a steamer tank.
